Product Care

Our leather handbags are made in NYC of genuine leathers that are tanned to give each bag a natural look and a soft feel.  Variations in color and feel are characteristic and unique to each bag.  Different leathers will react uniquely to dyes and wear and your bag can change in appearance over time.  With normal use, your bag may become more slouchy or soft.  To preserve your bag, we recommend keeping it away from direct sunlight, heat, humidity and water.  Exposure to makeup, oil, liquids and other products may unfortunately stain the leather and can be hard to remove.  In the case that your bag is stained, we strongly suggest taking it to a reputable leather care professional with the best restoration options.  If you have questions about care please contact us.

LEATHER

Lambskin

Lambskin is used on the most expensive and exquisite handbags in the world.  It is one of the softest leathers to the touch.  Our lambskin has been treated to repel  water and liquids. Lambskin is a natural skin, if liquid is not removed immediately, there is a possibility of staining. The best way to care for this beautiful skin is to keep it clean and dry.  Should staining occur, we strongly suggest taking it to a reputable leather handbag restorer familiar with lambskin.

Stone Care

Stones are porous rocks that can absorb anything.  Avoid cleaning agents or polishing cloths.  Avoid direct contact with water and chemicals such as chlorine, sulfur, perfume and detergent.  Because all of the stones used on our products are real and hand polished, they may vary in shape, size and color.  Inclusions can be seen in natural stones and adds a unique appeal to each product.  Some stones can break or crack if dropped. Clean with a soft dry cloth.

Wood  Care

Wood is a porous material that can absorb anything.  Avoid using cleaning agents or polishing cloths.  Avoid direct contact with water and liquids, chlorine, sulfur, perfume and detergents.   Wood is a natural product and our woods are hand polished and a finish is applied that best suits the particular wood. The grain may vary with each cut which adds a unique appeal to each product.  Some wood can break or crack if dropped. Clean with a soft dry cloth.
